Rose is one of my favorite types of wine—it’s sweet and refreshing and just great to sit and sip on when chatting with your friends. Rose is also very versatile in making other drinks. Try some of these refreshing rose drinks this spring and summer!
1 bottle of your favorite rose
3 cups of lemonade (store-bought is fine)
Add a tray of ice to the pitcher. Pour the lemonade and rose in to the pitcher and stir. Add some raspberries and carefully stir those in. Add some ice to a glass, pour the rosenade in ¾ of the way, top with club soda and garnish with some more raspberries and fresh mint.
Strawberry Basil Pink Sangria
1 bottle rose
1 bottle champagne
1/2 cup tequila
1/3 cup white sugar
2 cups sliced strawberries
10-20 basil leaves
Make this at least 4 hours ahead of time. Combine the sugar and tequila in the pitcher and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the fruit, wine and half the basil leaves and stir to combine. Refrigerate for 4 hours. When ready to serve, pour the champagne on top and gently stir. Pour over ice and garnish with basil leaves.
1 bottle sparkling rose, chilled
¾ cup grapefruit juice, chilled
1 orange, sliced
Pour the sparkling rose into a tall thin glass, about ¾ of the way full. Top off with grapefruit juice and garnish with an orange slice and some mint.
