Vegetables are super healthy, and they are tasty. But sometimes they get kind of…well, boring. Dips are a great way to spice up your veggie trays! Perfect for any occasion, these dips will be sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Sweet Onion Dip
Yield: 1 ½ cups of dip
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
2 large sweet Vidalia onion, shredded
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Also great with chips!
Herbed Tahini
Yield: 1 cup of dip
Ingredients:
¾ cup tahini paste
¼ cup sour cream
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp fresh chives, chopped
1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Also goes great with chicken!
Spicy Citrus Yogurt Dip
Yield: 1 cup of dip
Ingredients:
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 orange, zest and juice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Mix all ingredients together in a bow. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Goes great with salmon cakes, recipe found here.
